Consent for the use of the portraits from this shoot.
Please read the following carefully. By signing you agree to it.
1. Subject
This release concerns the photographs and/or video from this shoot (the Images).
2. Rights granted
You grant Harry Stuurman (HXRRY) the right to edit, reproduce, publish, and make public the Images for: portfolio and own website, the photographer’s social media, print and exhibitions, and promotion of his work. Worldwide and indefinitely, unless you set a limit below. The photographer is not obliged to use the Images.
3. By whom
The rights apply to the photographer and to parties he designates in writing (e.g. a printer, gallery, or platform), solely within the purposes stated in article 2.
4. Editing, montage and ownership
Copyright and ownership of the Images rest with the photographer. The Images may be edited, cropped, montaged, used in composite form, or altered. The Images will not be used in a degrading or defamatory context.
5. No review or approval
You have no right to review or approve the use, captions, or final result in advance.
6. Waiver of portrait-right objections (quitclaim)
Within the purposes stated in article 2 you waive any reliance on your portrait rights and any royalties or other compensation. Participation in the shoot is unpaid. This is a contract, not revocable consent.
7. Indemnity
You indemnify the photographer against claims arising from use within these purposes, including claims regarding editing, montage, or alteration.
8. Your own use and crediting
You may use the Images for your own portfolio and social media, non-commercially and without cropping or editing. Crediting and tagging the photographer is mandatory (e.g. @harrystuurman); the photographer tags you as well.
9. Privacy (GDPR)
The photographer processes your name and contact details solely to administer this agreement and retains them for 7 years. You have the right of access and rectification.
10. Final provisions
This release is binding on you and your heirs and legal successors. You have read and understood it and are authorised to sign. Dutch law applies. This release constitutes the entire agreement on the use of the Images.
